Shannen Casados

Shannen was born and raised in Los Alamos, NM. She moved to Denver, CO in 2012 where she earned her Associate’s degree at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2014. She received her veterinary technician license from the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners when she moved to the DFW area in 2015.

AAFP cat friendly certified, Shannen has a wide variety of experiences including: emergency medicine, large animal medicine, small animal medicine, zoo medicine and feline specialty. She has a special passion for anesthesia, dentistry, feline and exotic medicine.

She spends her spare time at the barn riding her horse, Ember. Or taking her daughter to horseback riding lessons and horse shows. She also helps her husband at his mechanic shop, where he custom builds classic cars. She shares her home with four cats: Mittens, Magic, Minnie the Mouser and Minion. And two dogs: Maxamillion and Madeline.
